Pricing and labelling my new creations and some old favorites.
Late night key pendant necklace making.
A little Christmas cheer pin button style!
I had such a great time doing all four christmas markets this season! I have to say, my favorite one was a 3-day fair at Simon Fraser University – it was just so neat to see the students and staff wearing the jewelry they bought at my booth the next day. So rad! I added quite a few new pieces this winter season – and I hope to share more of it on here with you, and hopefully add some new things to the shop as well.
Ahh, it’s December 1st already! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
A little reminder from Colossians 3:23.
I’ve come up with a new line of die-cut prints that have been doing well so far during the Christmas Markets.
Can’t wait to share more with you and post in the shop.
Loving the beautiful patterns on these slabs of rock.
The emerald green stone has a pattern that look like little waves.
Getting ready for upcoming Christmas Craft Fairs.
If you are in the Tri-Cities, come check us out, event listing here.
The long and short of it. The long ones are probably more popular… but the short ones are my favourite. I probably wear them at least three times a week.
Starting to prep for our Christmas Craft Fairs coming up… meanwhile, am thoroughly enjoying the beautiful changes that come with fall. The beautiful colours emerging from the trees, the misty fog, scarf wearing season, and warm drinks in the evenings.
I guess you can say that I have been stuck in a rut for a couple of months…. and there is a good reason to that. But I will have to announce why and a few other exciting things at another time. I am trying to embrace the changes and transitions that come with life – and to be honest I am not sure how I would be able to do it without my faith. I am just so thankful that God continues to bless me with a loving husband and so many opportunities to do things for His cause.
Here are a few blog postings that I found interesting and enjoyed throughout the interweb this week:
- Having been a missionary for several years, I thought that this article on giving money to child beggars was a great one to keep in mind – especially for tourists visiting third world countries. I think it could also be applicable in similar situations in Canada or North America.
- A letter written by Sinead O’Conner to Miley Cyrus. Aside from some of her harsh language, I found what she said to be quite interesting coming from someone who knows the music industry.
- For all the Discouraged Moms out there, here’s a good read for you.
Have a great weekend!

I have been seeing people spray painting lots of these dollar store rubber animals gold… and I always thought they looked neat, but I didn’t really have a purpose for doing it myself. But I think this is pretty cute and functional! Go check out the how to on The Band Wife Blog.
I love freshwater pearls, don’t you? I tend to stick to the cream coloured pearls, but these purple/grey pearls are perfect for the evening.
It has been a hectic summer over here – and kind of a hectic start to fall as well. I’ll be making some announcements soon. But for now, this week will be full of making more jewelry for another Blim Market this Sunday. The last market for the season! Then I’ll have a little break before the Christmas markets start.
